Europe
In late 2022, my girlfriend and I embarked on a 6-week trip to Europe. We visited France, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, the Netherlands, and the UK. As we ran from place to place, I ensured I had my camera handy to capture Europe in my own way. When working on an image during this trip, I made an effort to ensure each one could be a painting. I used a 58mm Helios lens during most of my trip. I shot predominantly vertical compositions to focus in on a subject for each scene and create that ‘painterly look’. These images are a mix of film and digital.
