Melbourne in Lockdown

Australia’s southern state of Victoria harboured some of the longest and most stringent COVID-19 lockdowns. During the six statewide lockdowns, one was only able to venture outside within a 5-kilometre radius, and only for an hour of exercise or to obtain essential items. I used my exercise time to photograph the suburbs within this radius. These are a selection of photographs from my Lockdown Walkabaout collection.

This project kept me sane throughout the endless lockdowns. For that one hour of the day, I could go out, enjoy suburbia, and just create.
