This is a collection of images from my five-day trip to the North-Indian stae of Himacal Pradesh in March of 2022. There’s something magical about snowy mountains. They are truly enormous, yet calming. We stayed in a hotel just south of Kullu, but ventured north daily to see more of the mountains. The images in this gallery progress from the more green landscape of Kullu to the snowy peaks of Keylong.

I photographed with the intent to capture the serenity of the mountains, and attempted to envoke a sense of peace and stillness.

My favourite image is that of the man in the green shirt and red pants overlooking the valley with the snowy mountains in the background. This photograph encapsulates that serenity I was looking to capture. I have found that there’s something about being in nature with no distractions that eases the mind.
